Mont Saint-Michel

Yesterday, we went to Mont Saint-Michel, which is an old church on an island between Normandy and Brittany. We woke up very early in the morning to take the train to Mont Saint-Michel. It was the second time that we had taken the TGV, and, again, we had to run to get on the train on time. After the TGV, we took the bus to arrive at Mont Saint-Michel. After having arrived at the island, we visited a museum that explained to us the history of the abbey on Mont Saint-Michel, and the people who lived there. The village on the island is like a medieval city, with little roads that turn in all directions, and lots of stairs, too. We visited the abbey, which was very pretty, before exploring the village. When it was time to leave, we divided ourselves into two groups to take two different trains to Paris. What bad luck; there was an accident on the train route, and the second group of people had a long delay. So, when the first group of people was eating a good meal in Paris, the second group was waiting on the train.
